Bio and other quality standards

Bio standard

The terms «bio» and «ecologically» are legally protected under the EU Organic Regulation and the Swiss Ordinance on Organic Farming. Anyone wishing to label and market their products as organic (or use derivative or diminutive terms, such as bio or eco) must adhere to strict production standards and submit to annual inspections.

Other quality standards

The EASY-CERT partners publish at the companies all quality standards for which they are tested or certified on the Info-Webportal. These standards are controlled or certified by independent inspection bodies.
